I've updated the script to work with 0.5.0. Since it's not backwards compatible with previous versions of SAB (including the current official release) I've released it as SabTab3.

Has anyone had any luck getting this to run on Chrome?

The newest chrome has built in .js as extension support... I can get it installed, but I can't ever get the initial setup box to pop up when I go to newzbin :(

It installs but Im having the same problem as above :(

Any ideas/plans to fix?

This won't run on anything but Firefox with GreaseMonkey.
