Old topic, but I think this deserves attention.
I used DlDone for a long time (didn't really know other programs like this existed/was too lazy to search).
It usually works, but sometimes it does weird things. I think if pars have different names then rars then it does something weird (like at the end of each rar set it looks into every other rar file for every rar set!), in the end it doesn't extract them. Then one time I downloaded a season of some tv show (~7.5 GB with pars if I remember correctly). Ran DlDone. I'm not really sure what happened, but it deleted all my avis and only left .subs files (or other kind of subtitle files, don't remember exactly what extension). I think it's because those subtitle files were part of the par set (not sure). Not a very big loss, but still had to waste another 2 hours to redownload that season again
Oh yeah it doesn't extract .001 files too...
Insyder excellent post and glad you brought this up! This is the main reason why I hate most of these programs they don't extract all file formats or do strange things at times! Though the main reason is they only extract one file format, just like newsleecher 3.9 beta 1 does now.
A lot people may come back and say that doesn't suck but it will when releases start becoming all like this which could easily happen.
