I use SabNzb (like everyone else ) and now with the added inclusion of Nzb TV its making my life alot easier getting those weekly shows, but Nzb TV (or could be SABnzb) is throwing up an issue, which although not a biggie, is a pain in the arse.

I have Nzb TV setup to grab and dump all the files into the SAB blackhole directory, and then when I load up Sab it just grabs everything there waiting for me. Only thing is, I've noticed that by doing this, it looses all the catagories of the shows that are sitting in the 'blackhole' directory. Items added from Newzbin to the SAB que go into the /tv/show/ directories, but the same files auto grabbed are just dumped into /download/show ...

how can I get it into the right directories when downloading.

Simple. Have Sab grab nzb stuff directly from NewzBin and stop using the dump folder.

You can't expect Sab to know about report categories/attributes unless you give it access

Fair enough, but when I tried to set up Nzb tv to dump the files into Sab it wouldn't work.

I put in the same path as shown in SAB (when que is open) and user / pw is correct, but it fails to do anything

What am I doing wrong with that part of the operation then?

If you get only TV stuff from NZB-TV, then create a folder called "tv" in your blackhole folder and set NZB-TV to put the files there, eg:
c:\blackhole\tv\

Any file placed there will be imported with the category of "TV".

for some reason SABTV refuses to dump the files into my SABNZB que.
