Changing to a different host
« on: January 29, 2008, 12:26:36 PM »

Hi all

I'm in the process of moving to another hosting company, and I have two options.

1. Migrate the current forum over to the new host.
2. Set up a brand new forum with new boards etc.

I've had a quick play and set up a new forum at the new host. At the moment, none of the data has been copied across, so it's pretty much a fresh install of the forum.

Take a look at it, see what you think.

Feel free to leave feedback here, or on the new forum.

Cheers,

Shaitan

IMO, migrate... old posts have some value as they contain knowledge.

I dont think this forum could survive a new start :/
Its dead enough as it is - hardly any activity..

And in my opinion there are far too many categories in the new forum - spreading discussion too far away from each other :p

1. Migrate the current forum over to the new host.

This would be my preference as well.
